Thousand Void Crush
When I first played these guys on the show, I was unaware that they are actually a
quartet from Minneapolis. This week's Q&A is with
Dave Wesley, one of the group's founding members. He went on to form "
The Push" with fellow Thousand Void Crusher, Casey Borchert (aka St. Vitas). The duo produce their own brand of techno music, called "Arctic Dub." Check out The Push online,

I've known Dave Wesley for more than a few years now. I think we must have gotten in touch around the point that Some Assembly Required first started up. Considering his background, I imagine he may even have been listening when we first started netcasting, way back in 1999, and sent in a CD of sample-based techno (Is there any other kind?).

Sursumcorda, was where we first started experimenting with archiving the show, actually. The site has always been very supportive of dub, electronic and experimental musicians, and even spun off a posh downtown club, in Minneapolis, for a time.
The Push and
